2. When are classes held?

• Classes are 8:00 am to 4:30 pm M-F.  
• New classes begin every 3 weeks and are 4 weeks in length.
• Classes may run longer due to student absence, weather, holiday's or other unforeseen circumstances.  Students must complete 160 hours to successfully complete the program.

3. How much is the program?

• Class A 4 week program  $3,450.50
• DOT physical                   $     90.00
• S.O.S license fee              $     50.00
• Total                                $3,590.00

• Class B (Straight truck)   $1,000.00
• DOT physical                  $     90.00
• S.O.S license fee             $     50.00
• Total                               $1,140.00

 

4. What are the costs for a night class?

        The tuition for night classes are the same as the day classes.


5. Do I receive college credit for this class?

        The CDL program is accredited by the Illinois community college board.  You will receive 7 credit hours upon successful completion of the class A CDL program.  The class B program is worth 2 credit hours.


6.  Is financial aid available?
       
        Financial aid in the form of Map and Pell grants are not available for the CDL program.  We do offer the F.A.C.T.S tuition payment plan. Come in or call the CDL student recruiter for details.
